Casing Nails

Casing nails and finishing nails are similar and differ primarily in the shape of the heads. A casing nail is similar to a finishing nail but has a slightly thicker shaft and a cone-shaped head.

casing nails are used where the nail head must be hidden. They have small heads and smaller diameters than common nails.
